and thinking it might be the time to start a new blog. We'll see how far I get with this one. Some years have been good ones to blog and others have found me struggling to keep up. Right now I'm struggling to walk so sitting in front of the computer seems like something I can do. I hurt my leg when I fell down the stairs 2 weeks ago and moving my classroom hasn't seemed to help it. I've been trying to stay off it, but with Christmas and all it hasn't been easy.
The three of us had a wonderful Christmas. Good times with family and friends and presents that were just right. I was spoiled by my daughters with a sea otter neck wrap and sea otter and beaver trimmed gloves. They are pure heaven! Wish I could have otter lined underwear! I'll have to work on getting pictures of them up in the next couple of days.
I am so thankful we made it through Solstice. That always feels like such an accomplishment! I think we are gaining almost a minute of daylight today. Not that you could notice physically, but psychologically, it's amazing! Just a few short months and it will be so apparent! But for now, on December 26, I just feel like settling in for a long winter's nap and soak in the joy of just being together, the three of us.
